Issuing a golden residence permit (investors)

For a company investor or partner: an accredited UAE audit firm's certified financial report, a valid trade licence with the partners' appendix, the company bank statement, tax registration and last year's receipts. Free-zone companies also need evidence of capital and the investor's share, and the company and auditor licensing documents.

For a financial-deposit investor: evidence of a deposit of at least AED 2,000,000 with a local bank and housing in Dubai. The controls require an official certificate confirming a freeze of at least two years and retention of the investment throughout the residence validity.

For a property investor: evidence of ownership of property or properties worth at least AED 2,000,000, with value certification by Dubai Land Department. The property category uses the accredited application centres listed in the official card.

For a tax investor: a Federal Tax Authority letter confirming an annual tax contribution of at least AED 250,000, and a trade licence with the partners' appendix.

This service record is for investors in Dubai only. It is not the pathway for talented individuals, scientists, entrepreneurs or other Golden Residence categories.

The published residence permit fee is AED 1,100, plus AED 10 knowledge and AED 10 innovation fees. The card lists AED 500 for an in-country application and AED 20 delivery. It also states an AED 100 annual issuance-fee increase where residence exceeds two years. No fixed total is calculated here; confirm the amount payable for the actual case.

The official service card lists an expected completion time of five days; this is not an approval guarantee.
